‘On the 6^th day…’ Creative Worship

Remember the 4x4x4x4s that were borne from brainstorming an idea of Rev Geoff’s at the autumn 2007 Circuit Life Committee meeting?  As a consequence of their success, a TOG (task orientated group) led by Rev Clare developed the idea and 3 creative worship nights at Emmanuel St John URC were put together at the latter end of 2008.

This developed into the current ‘on the 6^th day…’ services held once a month. The idea is that God created people on the 6^th day; hence volunteer lay workers put together a
creative worship service on the 6^th day of each month.   A different church is used each time and all are welcome to attend.

The next ‘on the 6th day…’ – An invitation  to gather together for informal worship for candlemas in Westborough Coffee Lounge at 6 p.m. on Monday 6th February 2012.
